Today In Human Geo, we watched more of the North Korea documentary. I was actually excited to go to class today because I knew that we were watching this. The video resumed when the people went to a North Korean home. It was pretty weird because of how different their house was to ours. Mr. Schick told us the word Juche is very important, and we need to know it for the test on Friday. It means to have isolation to the rest of the world, or self reliance. There was a very cool scene in the documentary when a guard escaped from North Korea, and got into South Korea. He had a technique of disabling the electric fence for only two minutes for him and his friend to get under. He got over, but while his friend was trying to get over, it turned back on and he died. It was a very good documentary and hope we can learn more.
