Human Geography

Walking in to John Carroll on my first day of high school, was pretty intimidating. I didn’t know what to expect. My old school had about 90 kids in the middle school, so I wasn’t used to this many kids in the hallways at once. I was of course late on my first day due to traffic from an accident. A lot of people were late. I also forgot my locker password for the third time, and to top that off, I came into the gym without my shirt tucked in, therefore Mr. Ireton yelled at me. I was of course embarrassed from that. The rest of the assembly, I got more comfortable. I was pretty confused on the my schedule, and was even 5 minutes late to one of my classes. I had barely anyone to talk to in my classes, or that I knew, so I had to adjust. I also, got confused about the two hour late bell schedule, so I didn’t eat lunch till the end of the day. I already walked into the wrong class and sat down. I am excited for a new change, and can’t wait for this year at John Carroll.
